How to care for daith piercing?

The healing process is longer than the other piercing. You need to take care of it for like 6-12 months. You should not use in-ear headphones. You need to be careful when you sleep and play with your hair. You need to keep it dry and clean. Your piercer will inform you how to clean with detail. 

How to wear a daith piercing hoop?

The daith piercing stays in the ear so you need to be careful when you wear it. Don’t be in a hurry when you try to wear it. Let’s look the steps:

  1. Please try to open and close the hoop on your hand. There are two ways to wear the hoop. You can push it first up or lower of the Daith. We suggest you wear an upper of the daith. You can try both and select which one is easy for you. Please be careful of the gemstones setting for it. If you have a request about that please get in contact with us by clicking on it.
  2. Open the clicker and wear it and be sure the hinge does not stay in your pierce. 
  3. You can close it with your thumb or nail. You will hear a ‘click’ sound when you totally wear it. Turn the hoop and leave the gemstone parallel to the daith.

How to take out a daith piercing hoop?

  1. You need to turn the clicker and be sure the hinge does not stay at your piercing.
  2. Use your both hands to open it. One hand will hold it and the other hand needs to pull the small part of the clicker to open it.
  3. If you open it, pull it gently and you do it.
